Multotec Kendal Inspection – Plc Wiring and Remote IO

The Scope of work consisted out of the following and we managed to neaten PLC panel wiring without disconnecting any cables.

• Install new lights and new fire door into e-house
• Fix and neaten PLC panel wiring
• Install cable tags for PLC panels
• Cleaning field RIO’s
• Close holes in field RIO’s

Gamsberg Zinc Cleaner Flotation Circuit Expansion – Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Design

For a duration of 5 months our Engineers have been hard at work to Complete Electrical, Control and Instrumentation detailed designs for the cleaner Circuit Upgrade.

Zinc flotation is one of only three phase 1 upgrades before a complete second concentrator is to be built at Gamsberg Zinc Mine.

Medupi Unit 1 – Automation Engineering for Dust Handling Plant

In July 2020 Novatec SA assisted with the completion and commissioning of Medupi Unit 1 Dust Handling Plant, for a duration of two months.

Our Junior Automation Engineer Scott Anderson, worked hand in hand with ELB Construction to make sure the set goals get achieved.
